Questions about warts???? Help needed please.?

I asked a couple questions yesterday that were very helpful but I have a couple more. First how long does it usually take to get rid of common warts on your fingers? Second I work at a fast food place where we are wearing gloves all the time and we wash alot of dishes. We also work with watery foods. Now I got a really bad cut 3 weeks ago and when it finally healed i got this little bumb by the edge of where it healed. I didn’t think much of it until I found a wart on my other hand. Go figure the bump by the cut ended up being a wart to. Is it common to get warts by cuts or scratches?? Number three if warts come back do they always come back in the same place or not?? How can I help prevent myself from getting them again?? And are they very contagious to you and other people. And last what age do people usually get warts?? I would be greatly appreciative for anyone who gives an answer to all my questions.

1.It can take any where from 1-4 months to get rid of the wart , depending on the size and how long you have had it and if there is more than 1 in that area.
2. You can get a wart via a scratch. Wart is a virus that people carry around. Touching things and leaving a trace of the virus. Someone that has a weakend immune system or a break in the skin , makes it easier for the virus to eastblish itself. I dont think it gets passed thru water though , maybe more on the surfaces of the sink or the handles.
3. Warts can regrow if the root was not fully killed off. OR you can either pass it to another part of the body or pick up the virus again and get them elsewhere.
4. Prevention is keeping your areas, and hands clean. And staying healthy as much as possible.
5.Yes warts and thier virus are very contagious. Its just a luck of the draw, sometimes you can get it and other times you dont.
6. Warts do not know age, nor do they care. Its just they see a weak point and go for it.

My advice in dealing with warts myself is that the FREEZE works the best. It in a sense freezer burns the area where the wart root is. the skin will be tender for a while because it does have to hit the skin surrounding the root. ( think of a wart like a carrot in the ground) IF the root is not deep it should be suffiecent. But 1. I would still apply liquid in addition to the freeze and cover with a square of duct tape. ( cover that with a bandaid and your gloves if you are concerned about how it looks or when washing dishes at work. Do that for about a month . In most cases it will go away. Make shure you are remvoing the dead skin every now and then so when u apply meds they go directly on the LIVE part instead of the already dead part. Ina month you might want to do one more freeze. ( usually this is for PLANTAR ( foot ) warts or warts that have been there a long time.
Good Luck!
