Wart Removal Nail Polish

How come we’re not supposed to use Wart Remover on moles?

My friend just got some “easy removal” wart remover stuff to remove this really dark mole that she doesn’t like, but on the bottle, it says you can’t use it on moles… but she did anyway…
what will happen? It’s not the freeze kind. It’s brand is Longs Drugs… and you apply it with a brush thing.. like nail polish…
so my question is, if you can apply it on Warts, why not on moles?

Warts and moles are completely different skin problems. Warts are irritations of the skin resulting in often multiple bumps, and are usually contagious. On the other hand, you are usually born with moles or get them later in life because of genetics. The stuff that your friend is using probably says to not use it on moles because first of all, moles are not a irritation, thus it will be ineffective. Second, on uncontaminated skin, some solutions may cause damage. If the bottle says not to, then don’t.
