Why wont the doc remove my daughters verruca?

My daughter has a painfull verruca in the ball of her foot, tried removing it with something from boots, although being so cold it sizzled as i applied it to her foot it really hasnt had any effect. Took her to doctor and he said that they only treat adults now (she is and only children if it is causing pain, i pointed out it was but he didnt seem to believe me. He said to leave it alone and it will go away, but surely some verrucas take years to go? What would you do?

I had one when I was about 8 as well and now I’m 29 but the doctor didn’t remove mine either. I just had to apply a special type of cream to it. I’ll give you some advice though.. if you use “Tea Tree Oil” it will get rid of the infection fast!!! Great stuff and I know how painful verruca’s are!
