Treatment Of Warts
Could someone explain the duct tape treatment for plantars warts please.?
What do you do?! I have one on the bottom of my foot.. and its GOT to go.
Ive been treating mine for a few weeks now under the guidance of a dermatologist. The duct tape might work if its not too severe. I would advise getting some Mediplast (available OTC from the pharmacy) which is 40% Salycic Acid pads and put it over the wart. Leave it on for 2 days then take it off and use a pumice stone to remove the dead skin. It works by killing the wart layer by layer until it is completely gone, which can take a few weeks. I’ve been doing it for a week, and one mild one is already gone and the severe ones are getting a lot better.
