Wart removal on my knee???!!!???
i tried the freezing away and compound w . it didnt work 2 well 4 me. the little pads with the medicine worked pretty good but never fully took away the wart. do u know of any treatments that work well and fast??? I heard duck tape is good but idk
I’ve had one on the top of my foot for over a year. I went to the dermatologist who offered to freeze it (I used Compound W myself and it didn’t work) and the plastic surgeon (who wouldn’t do anything because of the risk of it coming back). I also tried Mediplast, but it was a pain to keep a bandaid on all the time. I went to the podiatrist yesterday and she prescribed something called Lazerformalyde that’s supposed to dry it out, but I’m going to see what happens with my current method.
I read somewhere that clear nail polish works, because it “suffocates” the wart. I used plain clear polish and nothing happened. I have this stronger clear polish called Dabu that I started putting on last week. It stings like crazy, but it’s working. I think there’s something in it stronger than regular clear polish (the topcoat kind). I paint it on the wart and leave it on for 24 hours, then peel it off and file off the dead skin and reapply the polish. I’m pretty pleased with the results so far, especially since I’m seeing more progress in less than a week than I have seen for an entire year!
