Treatment For Planters Warts

how did i get the wart on my foot?

I still have it, and I’m doing “treatment” like duct tape, compound “w” and other remedies, but I was wondering something simple:

How did I get the Planters Wart in the first place?

I stay clean, shower every day, but one thing I hate wearing: shoes! I know it probably occurred this way, but from what?!?

I’ve only ever had 1 wart before, and it was about 10 years ago. And, oddly enough, it was in the same place (I know it didn’t just lay dormant & come back) It’s a new one!

Also, I’m so scared for that freezing off thing that the doctor wanted to do- so if anyone has any other suggestions I could do at home to remove it, that would be great!

I switch in between compW and Duct tape because compW eats away the skin around my foot (and the wart stays strong), so I must give the skin around it a rest.
Thanks!

I’m not sure, but I think some people are more vulnerable to wart viruses than others.
I recall being warned not to loan out my shoes as a teen, because of the risk of getting a Plantar Wart.
Try Googling “duct tape” & wart. My boss had little pieces of colorful duct tape on her for a while, per a nurse’s advice for getting rid of a wart. It worked for her. It’s supposed to create a seal against the air, & needs to be maintained consistently until things are healed.

Treatment For Planters Warts

Let’s face it, Plantar Warts on feet can be painful and problematic. They can take a long time to get rid of and the whole time you are treating them you can be in a lot of pain when walking, especially if they are located on the ball of the foot.

It you have plantar warts on your feet and have been trying to get rid of them with no success, then you might want to consider changing your methods. If treated properly plantar warts can be easily removed.

What Are Plantar Warts?

Plantars Warts are named such because they occur on the bottom or “plantar” of your foot. They are usually smaller than other types of warts and can be smoother and shiny. Like other types of wart, they are caused by the Human Papilloma Virus.

The reason plantar warts on feet are so common is because they virus can live on inanimate objects such as the floor and then be spread to your skin when you walk on it without shoes. The virus loves a warm, moist environment so walking around barefoot in the gym locker room, sauna or public pool is just an invitation for these warts.

Why The Treatments You Have Tried Don’t Work

Most people turn to over the counter treatments or try to pry the wart out. The truth is that the virus that causes them can be rooted deep in the layers of your skin, so you have to get rid of the deepest layers to stop the wart from coming back. Most treatments do not do this, so you may find that your wart disappears for a while and then comes back months later.

How To Finally Get Rid Of Plantar Warts On Feet

If you really want to get rid of these warts, then you need to treat the problem at the root of the cause – the virus. While some people’s immune systems will clear it up over time, other people are not so lucky and need to take proactive measure to clear up the virus. Luckily, these measures are pretty easy, all natural, are not painful and will not leave any scarring.
