Removal of wart with apple cider vinegar?

I heard that a wart could be removed using apple cider vinegar. I had a wart on my knuckle so I figured I would try it. The wart turned black, and eventually fell off, I applied neolosporin but I am allergic, so I had to stop using it. The hole has closed up and there is only a tiny scab left in the middle, but there is still a bump, it looks like the skin that was around the wart, all red and swollen. I don’t think its the wart because there are no black marks. Is this going to be like this permanently? Or will it eventually go away? What should I do now? Thanks for the help!

it sounds like the skin is irritated because of the acid you used to remove the scar, and because of the hole the scar has left. This would be a natural reaction. It’s probably going to turn into a very small scar eventually and the red bumps should slowly go away. Maybe you can apply an inflammatory / healing cream to the skin (just ask at the pharmacy). If you don’t see black marks, it does sound like the wart is gone, so that’s good news!
