How To Diagnose Plantar Warts

If you see a growth on your skin then you will want to know what it is as soon as possible. This article will give you the information to be able to tell whether your growth is in fact a plantar wart.

Plantar warts are smooth, whereas other types of wart are usually rough or bumpy. They are also extremely small which also distinguishes them from others. Another name for them is “flat warts” and the technical term for them is “verruca plana”. However they do grow in patches over the skin as plantar warts do, which is one of the key similarities.

They tend to cluster together, which means that there can be twenty or more of them in any one area. They have even been known to develop so rapidly that one group contains over 100. plantar warts also range in color from very pale skin colored growths to dark brown. The individual warts usually measure just a couple of millimeters.

They arise in various places on the body, face and limbs. They can also arise on the face and the hands, both of which are visible and so quite upsetting. They are not usually painful but they do look quite unpleasant.

Plantar warts grow when a virus is contracted into the skin via a small cut or scratch. Different types of virus can cause different types of wart. The virus that causes plantar warts is called “Papilloma”. It develops particularly well on warmer, moist patches on the skin.

Due to the fact that they are caused and spread by viral infections, plantar warts are in fact very contagious. They can spread over other parts of the body or to other people if they are touched, picked or scratched. Shaving is another common way that this type of wart can be spread over the face.

So now that you know more about plantar warts you will no doubt be able to diagnose any growths that you may have on your skin now or that you develop in the future.

Wart Contagious

How contagious are warts?

I have a wart on my middle finger. I didn’t noticed it was a wart until a few weeks after it had fully formed. I read that it can cause other warts just from contact, and I can’t help but touch other parts of my body with it because it’s right on the pad of my finger. I have to touch my face when I wash it and touch my other hand. Am I at serious risk of getting warts on my face and other parts of my body?

no! you only can get another (maybe many) warts on your hands but not on your face!
anyway you should get rid of your wart!
you can remove warts by surgery, freezing, laser, acid or with cream but warts can reappear again and again because warts appears when your immune system is weak! so you must build up your immune system because your body can get rid of warts by itself if your immune system will be strong! so eat more healthy food, more vitamins and more sport activities!

HPV is the virus that causes warts. And HPV virus has many strains. In your case you have HPV virus strain number 2. People can be infected with HPV and never show any symptoms. Others will develop warts. These warts can stay the same size, grow, or go away on their own. It depends on the infected person’s immune system. A healthy immune system means your body may be able to suppress the virus and not show symptoms.

also you should use some herbal treatment!

in that case Wartrol is a good (probably the best) product that gets rid of warts and makes you feel more confident knowing that they wont reappear again! it says that it is designed for Genital Warts but
it does not matter because warts are warts and wartrol works by stimulating your immune system to fight the HPV virus that causes the warts. of course it is better if you use full course (5 months – if I remember correctly).

It worked and still works for me!

I do not know if any pharmacies carry Wartrol but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.wartrol.com/?aid=749165

good luck!

Penile Warts

Penile Warts
A serious question for the ladies about Penises – an honest opinion please!?

I am a guy and have ‘pearly penile pauples’ around the head of my penis. If you don’t know what these are, please try a Yahoo! search for “Pearly Penile Pauples” – theres loads of images etc on the first page. The condition is whiteish tiny spot type things right on the edge of the head of the penis. They are NOT an STD or any form of genital warts (Ive been checked out my a doctor) and are NOT INFECTIOUS. My condition is not at all as severe as most of the images on these sites.
I want to know if any ladies (or men!) have come across this condition on many guys, and what their opinion is of them. Would you freak out if you saw them on a guy?
Thanks!

sounds a little freaky but youre not totally hopeless!

a man i was seeing for 2 months went back to drugs and he went to see a doctor about some mole looking things above his pubic groin area and the doctor froze them a week ago, and told him they were plantar warts. now that i chose to see him no more he sent me an email saying you know those warts…well they are genital warts and that he is highly contagious. what would you say? i chose to not see him anymore because he

You only get plantar warts on your feet. That’s why they’re called plantar warts, because they’re on the plantar surface of your foot.

I wouldn’t even give him a response, he’s just trying to get back at you for realizing he was such a loser and dumping him in the first place.
