Warts Mouth Symptoms

Warts Mouth Symptoms
Is this a symptom of HPV infection?

My boyfriend and I had sex for the first time a little over a week ago. We used a condom (though I know that’s not foolproof against HPV). Since then, I’ve been having sort of brownish-pinkish-orange 9mostly orange) vaginal discharge, which has become markedly worse in the past 2-3 days. Could this be a sign of HPV infection?

My boyfriend, btw, has never been diagnosed with an STD. However, I do know that you can’t really test a male for HPV unless he’s actually developed any warts, which he never had.

I had the “Gardasil” vaccine a year or two ago, but I know that doesn’t protect against all strains of HPV.

Also, while last week was the first time we’d had sex, I did give him oral sex a few months ago. However, I didn’t think that could cause a genital HPV infection, I figured it would occur in the mouth.

Any help is appreciated! Thank you. And yes, I do plan to see my doctor about this, but can’t get in for another two and a half weeks.

NOOOO! :)
this is not HPV ! relax !:) 100%

it is some kind of infection! just go to doctor as soon as it is possible and thats all!

Genital Warts Transmission

When genital warts are removed how likely is transmission of the virus?

I started developing what looked like skin tags on my genital region, I asked a doctor about them and she said i could remove them by tiing a string around them. So I did. 3 months later I was diagnosed with having genital warts. I had them treated and now I have no warts. Will I give all my partners HPV if I have sex now? Is the string method just as good as any other method or do I have to kill the skin around the wart to?

You can still give your partners the virus even though you don’t have warts. You still have the virus.

I know that because I got it from an ex-boyfriend who showed no symptoms – no warts. I got it from skin contact from his member resting on me. My first wart outbreak was in that spot.

Don’t have sex and don’t have any body contact there if you don’t want to pass the virus on. Yes, I am serious.

Scared about bumps in my vagina. What do you think?

I have just now noticed many, many small bumps on the inside of my vagina, about an inch or two in. I ALWAYS use condoms, and I have only had two partners in the past 6 months, both showed no symptoms of anything when we were doing it. I just went to the gyno for a full check up about 2 months ago, and everything was fine. I just got done with my period. I have also had problems with yeast infections for the past year from an antibiotic i was taking for acne.

I also noticed that right inside the vagina, looks kind of rough, similar to the way my tonsils look from years of strep throat. Right inside the vagina are also some bumpy things that are thin and long, kind of like warts, but smooth in texture.

I am FREAKING out! Can anyone just tell me if this is at all normal? Or what it could be? I’m thinking herpes or warts, but hoping maybe just normal? or some type of scaring? help!

You are not alone. I just had a pap and My Dr. found allot of small cysts on my cervix also about 2 inches in and Bumpy. She said that it is totally normal and I have nothing to worry about.

Studies have shown genital warts to be the second commonest sexually transmitted disease. HPV1 and HPV2 are the pathogens that cause common warts. The same pathogens are known to cause genital warts too. These warts are highly contagious and spread quickly upon contact.

These warts may at times itch or burn or often have no symptoms at all. There also may be carriers of the virus who show no symptoms at all. However, the virus can still be passed on to others from such people. It often happens that men do not show any signs of genital warts but carry the virus. This gets passed on to their sexual partners and upon finding a suitable area for growth, it manifests as visible warts.

The incubation period of a virus is the time taken for the virus to show up as a symptom after the initial contact. The HPV virus has a long incubation period that typically ranges from three weeks to eight months. The average incubation period for the HPV virus has been estimated to be three months. However, there have been cases when the HPV virus has surfaced only years after exposure.

Medical practitioners hold varying views on the possible reasons for this. One logical reason however is that contracting the virus may depend upon a person?s immune system. Viral infections, though highly contagious, do not spread as widely as bacterial ones do. But as viruses like the HPV virus have very long incubation periods it is possible that they just remain latent and surface as soon as there is a weakness in the body?s armor i.e., the immune system.

It is very difficult to determine how a person contracted the HPV virus, as the virus has a very long incubation period. It is for this reason that medical practitioners advise safe sexual practices as the only method of prevention of exposure to the HPV virus.
