Wart Laser Therapy? Will it still work?

I’m looking into using Laser Treatment/Therapy for my wart, but i keep picking it half-off. Like so the top layer of skin is off. Will laser treatment/therapy still work, even if the wart is now not normal because of my constant attempts to pick it off? Many Thanks
