Laser Surgery Wart Removal

Laser Removal of Plantar Warts-experiences?
I am having laser surgery tomorrow morning to Remove Plantar Warts from my foot. My doctor said that I will need to have several needles to numb the area. Has anyone experienced this surgery? What can I expect during and after?
The worst part is the shot. After that, you won’t feel a thing. I had no pain at all in the WEEKS that have followed. Healing time is extremely long if the doc leaves the wound open (as mine did). Now 2 months later (still have a scab) and the wart appears to have returned. I would NEVER have had procedure had I known the WART could grow back.
