Tea Tree Essential Oil is not a miracle but it does miracles. Mother Nature has everything we need to keep us healthy. It is one of precious gifts given to us by Nature. There are a lot of health conditions when Tee Tree Oil may be helpful.

Tea Tree Essential Oil can be used for treatment of:

Skin Infections

As a natural general disinfectant. The oil can be mixed (10-12 drops of the oil with bath water) while taking bath. Recommended time 30 minutes;

This procedure can also be done after a workout or sport for muscles relaxation;

Sore throat and congestion

Combine the oil with a steam inhalation for treating of chest infections, congestion, clearing up mucus, and sore throat. In the pot of boiled water add 5-10 drops of Tea Tree Oil, weight 5-10 minutes cover yourself and pot with a towel and inhale. Caution! Burns warning! Do not be too close to a pot;

Warts and Genital Warts

Tea Tree Oil may be used by dabbing a cotton swab into it and applying it to a wart. This procedure should be repeated once a day (preferably for 10 days). Eventually the wart will turn white and fall off. The oil may cause a minimal stinging feeling. This is normal. Dispose used cotton swab in turn to avoid spreading of infection.

Boils and Carbuncles

Apply cotton swab soaked in the oil onto a boil or carbuncle;

Acne Treatment

Add small amount of the oil to a cotton swab and apply the oil onto the acne areas before going to bed (it should be rinsed off in the morning);

Bad Breath, Plaque, and Inflamed Gums

The oil acts as a natural cure for inflamed gums, gingivitis bad breath, and plaque, when used as a mouth wash. It also kills mouth bacteria and reduces irritation caused by dental procedures. Add 2-3 drops of the oil to a cup of warm water. Recommended to repeat 2-3 times a day. Caution! Do not swallow, spit it out. Tea Tree Essential Oil may be also added to toothpaste when brushing teeth (1-2 drops);

Dandruff and Lice

5% of Tea Tree Essential Oil may help get rid of head lice and cure dandruff by adding 5-10 drops of oil in you favorite shampoo.

Cuts and Burns

Tea Tree Oil may be applied on cuts or burns with a cotton swab. Some sore sensation may occur. This is normal.

Sore Throat and Laryngitis

Tea Tree Oil is an effective treatment for canker sores and laryngitis when added in water. Add 3-4 drops of oil in one cup of warm water. Rinse your throat with this solution twice a day;

Yeast Infections

Tea Tree Oil may be used as by mixing 1 teaspoon of the oil with 1 teaspoon of isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) until it appears milky white. 10 drops of this solution should be mixed with a pint of water and used once a day to rinse the vagina. If the symptoms are not disappearing consult your physician.

Side Effects of Tea Tree Oil

Use of straight oil can cause redness, itchiness or irritation on sensitive skin. In this case you can mix the oil with base oil such as olive or avocado oil. Breast-feeding and pregnant women should not use of Tea Tree Oil. Overdosing when taken internally may result in confusion, excessive drowsiness, sleepiness, vomiting, impaired immune function, coma, poor coordination, and diarrhea. Look immediately for medical assistance if any of these symptoms are noticed.
