Genital Warts At Home Treatment

What percentage should TCA be diluted to for treating genital warts?

I’m losing my insurance soon and can’t afford an occasional trip to the doctor’s office to get a pin-sized genital wart treated for $437 so….

I bought a bottle of 100% TCA online and it says it should be diluted prior to using.

I’m wondering what percentage TCA is diluted to in the doctor’s office to treat genital warts? I obviously don’t want to harm my pooter.

Thanks!

**PS – I know about all the home-remedies for treatment, but prefer the quickness of TCA which is why I’m asking about it.**

Not sure exaclty but be careful.
TCA is a caustic agent that destroy warts by chemical coagulation of proteins. Although these preparations are widely used, they have not been investigated thoroughly. TCA solutions have a low viscosity comparable with that of water and can spread rapidly if applied excessively; therefore, they can damage adjacent tissues. Both TCA and BCA should be applied sparingly and allowed to dry before the patient sits or stands. If pain is intense, the acid can be neutralized with soap or sodium bicarbonate.

Wart Removal Salicylic Acid

What’s the most effective form of wart removal?

I have tried Occlusal (salicylic acid), silver nitrate stick, plasters and traditional freezing sprays from the chemist. I have 7 warts on my left hand on the thumb and first 2 fingers and I have been informed by my doctor that freezing them is not offered at my surgery any more. I’ve been told to wait it out but its been getting progressively worse over the past 4 years! Please help :(
My mother is a chiropodist so I know its a part of the HPV virus but my doctor said it was nothing to do with my immune system and she cannot do anything about them. I’ma try duck tape…

if you really want to remove warts forever then you should know that you can remove warts by surgery, freezing, laser, acid or with cream but warts can reappear again and again because warts appears when your immune system is weak! so you must build up your immune system because your body can get rid of warts by itself if your immune system will be strong! so eat more healthy food, more vitamins and more sport activities!
(No smoking, no beer/ale, no booze, no drugs, no junk food, no fast food garbage, no sugary sweet soda’s. Get on a good, balanced, healthy diet including plenty of boiled or steamed vegetables.

Drink P L E N T Y O F W A T E R , fruit juices & fat free milk. Snack on lots of RAW fruit & veggies. Get up one hour early every morning & take a BRISK 30 minute walk – then – do the same thing again in the evening after dinner. Make sure you eat a good, balanced breakfast daily. You get your energy for the day from your breakfast meal. Get 8 hours sleep each night. Flip your mattress over so it will level out to give you a good night’s rest. Slack off too much coffee & tea.)

HPV is the virus that causes warts. And HPV virus has many strains. In your case you have HPV virus strain number 2. People can be infected with HPV and never show any symptoms. Others will develop warts. These warts can stay the same size, grow, or go away on their own. It depends on the infected person’s immune system. A healthy immune system means your body may be able to suppress the virus and not show symptoms.

also you should use some herbal treatment!

in that case Wartrol is a good (probably the best) product that gets rid of warts comparatively fast and makes you feel more confident knowing that they wont reappear again! it says that it is designed for Genital Warts but
it does not matter because warts are warts and wartrol works by stimulating your immune system to fight the HPV virus that causes the warts. of course it is better if you use full course (5 months – if I remember correctly).

It worked and still works for me!

I do not know if any pharmacies carry Wartrol but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.wartrol.com/?aid=749165

good luck!

Are you asking: “How Did I Get Genital Warts?”. If you are sexually active you are at risk of contracting genital warts. Unfortunately, the virus that causes these warts is a tricky one. This virus is referred to as HPV (Human Papillomavirus). You can contract HPV without having unprotected intercourse. The virus is actually transmitted via skin to skin contact. This means that if the skin in your “area” touches the skin in your partners “area”, you are at a risk of contracting HPV if they have it.

Here is where it all gets confusing, there are people that carry the strains of HPV that cause warts on the genitals but these people never actually get any warts. These lucky (or not so lucky) people are asymptomatic. This means that they carry the disease, but because they show no symptoms, they might never know that they have it.

Chances are that if you are reading this article you are not asymptomatic and you have grown a few nasty little lumps on your genital area.

Because of the fact that some people can be asymptomatic, this means that there is only one way to completely prevent yourself from contracting genital warts. This is way is to practice abstinence. Although it is highly unlikely that that will be an option!

Genital warts is becoming quite an epidemic in the US. It has been estimated that there are over 1 million new cases diagnosed each year. Although warts of the genital variety are not life threatening, there is another form of HPV that is just as easily passed on and this form of the virus can cause cervical cancer in women.

For this reason, there recently has been a vaccine released onto the market for women. This vaccine is called Gardasil. Gardasil prevents women from contracting 4 strains of HPV. 2 of these strains of HPV can cause cervical cancer and the other 2 cause 90% of the cases of genital warts.

I highly recommend any woman under the age of 26 gets this vaccination.

My guy has HPV…what to do?

The guy I am dating has HPV (one or maybe more than one of the strains that causes warts). I know this because he told me. He said he used to have warts but they are gone now. I know I can still get the virus from him, so I would definitely use a condom. Plus, I got the Gardasil vaccine about two years ago. I am 25.

So, what else could I do to prevent myself from getting it from him when we get intimate? And if he touches himself and then touches me with his hand, will I get it? Or is it only contracted through genital-to-genital contact?

PLEASE DO NOT tell me not to sleep with him. It is not helpful nor will I listen to your advice. Thanks for all other answers!!

Good news: Gardasil protects against the 2 strains of HPV that cause 90% of genital warts!! So there is a 90% chance you are protected!!

Bad news: Condoms WILL NOT protect you AT ALL from HPV. But make sure you use them because they are very protective against other STDs.

Hypothetically, HPV can live anywhere on the skin. But HPV have their favorite places to live, so if he still has the virus, it’s mostly likely on his genitals.

Good luck!
