Dream Meaning Warts

I have genital warts. Im so depressed.?
In March of this year I found out that I have genital warts. For one the docter that diagnosed me with them was so mean to me. I started to tear up and she was like I cant deal with you your to hystericaI and walked out of the room. But I think that would be anyones reaction after they find out they have a std especially only being 22 and still have a long life ahead. But after finding this out im so depressed to the point of suicidal thoughts. Who would want to be with a person with genital warts? Im not a slut and Im truly a good person. I had plans of eventually getting married one day and having a family. I feel like those dreams are crushed. I heard that if you have genital warts and you have a child, the baby can either come out blind or have warts in their throat which would have to be surgically removed. Is this true? If so I would never put my child through that. None of my family or friends no about it. I feel so alone and lost.
Having genital warts is seriously not a big deal at all. About nine months ago, I was sexually assaulted. As a result, I became infected with genital warts. At first, I was extremely depressed. I felt as if my life was over and I would always carry a huge stigma of having an STD.
I did a lot of research on the internet. Some people will tell you that HPV is a virus that you will have for life and you can never get rid of it. However, there have been numerous new studies that prove that 91% of people clear the HPV virus from their system in two yeras. Your immune system is able to clear the virus! I went to Planned Parenthood to have them removed, and they gave me a pamphlet about HPV. The offical pamphlet from Planned Parenthood even says that the immune system is able to clear the virus. In fact, most people only end up having one outbreak because their immune system clears it.
As far as those negative people that tell you you will have it for life, they probably are saying that because some scientists believe it still may exist in a latent state. This is similar to how you will always carry the virus for chicken pox, the common cold, the common flu. etc. However, did you get depressed when you got chicken pox, believing you would always be diseased because it would exist in a latent state? Of course not! If it is for life, it is only in a latent state. However, these new studies indicate that the immune system is able to completely clear it in two years or less.
The fact is that so many people have HPV. I have seen statistics anywhere from 50% to 80% of sexually active people have been infected with the virus at one point in their lives. People don’t realize how common it is because most people that are infected never get genital warts. This is because their immune system clears it before it has the chance to develop warts.
I went to Planned Parenthood to get them treated with a TCA peel. It was only $47!!! I highly suggest going there. The treatment at my regular doctor was going to cost over $400. I know how you feel about the doctor being rude. That doctor you saw is incredibly rude and unprofessional.
You can go to the doctor and do treatments, such as TCA peels and prescription Aldara cream to get rid of the warts. You can also have them surgically removed if you want them gone quickly.
However, the best thing you can do is to make your immune system the best as possible. The immune system is what will clear your warts! Eat healthy, take a multivitamin, exercise. Focus on improving your mental health. Stop worrying about your warts! Be as happy as possible and take time to relax.
I know how you feel. Keep in mind that HPV is not technically an STD. It is an STI, because it is an infection that can be cleared by your immune system.
As far as having a child, this will NOT stop you from having a child. In extremely rare cases when the mother has visible warts on her vagina while giving birth, the child can get warts on their throat. However, this is extremely rare. If you are worried about that happening, you can have the warts removed during pregnancy. Also, you can simply have a C-section if you are worried about it. You are probably confusing genital warts with Herpes. Herpes is what can blind infants when they come out of the vagina. That is why the doctor usually has women with herpes have a C-section.
I was depressed about this for several days. However, now that I am educated on HPV, I am 100% confident that I can have my immune system clear the warts. Good luck!
